About This Role
As a Customer Support Specialist at LightSource, you will be a key player in ensuring our customers have a seamless, positive experience on our platform. In this role, you’ll provide direct support to customers, help troubleshoot and resolve issues, and maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction. We’re looking for individuals with a knack for problem-solving, an eagerness to learn, and a genuine desire to help others. This role is ideal for someone early in their career.
You’ll report to the VP of Customer Success and receive mentorship from experienced team members. Join us as we redefine what’s possible in customer support for procurement technology.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist customers with onboarding and setup to ensure a smooth experience
- Resolve customer issues and support requests via email, phone, and chat
- Manage and prioritize incoming support tickets
- Document and update support workflows to improve team efficiency
- Track customer feedback and common issues, sharing insights with the product team

About You
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and excited to support customers.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable using support tools (experience with CRMs or ticketing systems is a plus).
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
