old-school that nobody bothers using them. Sales people have Salesforce, HR has
Workday, and Accounting has SAP. Us software people have the best tools because
we know our problems and we're able to solve them!

You could help build the future of supply chain software using the bleeding edge
of what the web and cloud have to offer.

Waymo, and Google X). And now we're tackling an exciting problem space with lots
of interesting problems.

## Requirements

- 3+ years of software experience
- Clear communicator
- Ability to break down abstract problems into concrete solutions
- Familiarity with common abstractions/systems solutions
- Self-directed, should be just as comfortable getting involved in product
  discussions as engineering discussions

## Bonus Points

- Experience with Typescript, React, GraphQL, AWS tools, and/or Rust
- Experience in managing and deploying large-scale web applications
- Experience in building tools from scratch, understanding/minimizing
  dependencies
- Passionate about first principles thinking, best practices, and new
  technologies

## Role and Responsibilities

This role requires a high level of proficiency in executive presence, business
acumen, prospecting, and solving customer problems. All of this will show up as
you find new groups of potential LightSource users and get them onboard. Your
ability to drive a strategic partnership is what makes you a top-performing
sales rep - ensuring LightSource is aligned to each customer’s unique business
needs in such a way that they continue to renew. Those who challenge
conventional wisdom & never settle for the status quo are strongly encouraged to
apply! As a part of LightSource’s sales team, you will become a master of
discovery & a strategic business partner for current customers. You will play a
huge role in our company growth journey, while navigating your own individual
growth journey as well.

**Specifically:**

- Hunt and close expansion opportunities outside of current customer base
- Develop a proactive and effective sales motion
- Demonstrate an ability to multithread and access C-level executives
- Manage a book of business with 100+ accounts.
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, creating excitement
  and enthusiasm among prospects.
- Develop and leverage client relationships to expand the usage of LightSource
  within new teams and departments.
- Work cross-functionally with our world-class customer success team to create
  raving fans.

## Qualifications:

- 3-5+ years of closing experience
- Experience up-selling, cross-selling and/or hunting net new business
- Previous SaaS or enterprise software sales experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Expert in (or excited to learn) new tools across CRM, messaging automation,
  lead finding, and more…
- Comfort selling Mid-Market and SMB customers (in addition to enterprise) where
  the ACV is smaller, but sales cycles are faster

This role reports to VP of Customer Success and get direct mentorship and access to procurement industry icons.

**Specifically this role will include the following:**

- Manage customer relationships and support ongoing customer success
- Initial user onboarding
- Support ticket management and issue resolution
- Usage data analytics
- Develop customer facing support systems and documentation
- Grow success resources across multiple regions (including APAC and LATAM)
- Collaborate with in-house procurement experts to craft technological solutions for complex customer problems

## Qualifications:

- 2-4+ years of broad procurement or sourcing experience
- Ideally within Direct Procurement categories such as metals, plastics, electronics, electricals in discrete manufacturing such as automotive, electronics, industrial equipment etc
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Expert in (or excited to learn) new tools across CRM, messaging automation,
  lead finding, and more…
- Comfort working autonomously, and quickly to drive customer outcomes

## Bonus Points

- Experience in procurement consulting, private equity operating team focused on procurement or similar roles
- Experience in process manufacturing, retail
- Experience in strategically sourced Indirect Procurement categories such as manufacturing services (MRO, tooling, FM), marketing, IT, packaging, logistics

- 3-5+ years of procurement or sourcing experience
- Ideally within Direct categories (but strategically-sourced Indirects is also
  great)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Expert in (or excited to learn) new tools across CRM, messaging automation,
  lead finding, and more…
- Comfort working autonomously, and quickly to drive customer outcomes
