The Role

As a Customer Success Manager (CSM) at LightSource, you’ll be responsible for the full post-sale customer lifecycle—from onboarding through renewal. You’ll partner closely with procurement professionals and supplier teams to ensure successful adoption of our platform, while also influencing senior stakeholders like Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs).

You’ll be joining our Deployments team—an agile and high-performing group dedicated to exceptional customer delivery. This role reports directly to the Lead, Deployment Strategist.


What You’ll Do

Customer Engagement & Success

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with procurement teams, category managers, and internal champions
  • Lead onboarding processes for enterprise procurement and supplier teams
  • Drive ongoing engagement to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and product adoption

Solution Development & Collaboration

  • Translate customer challenges into tailored LightSource solutions
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize feature requests
  • Advocate for customer needs while balancing business priorities

Growth & Retention

  • Analyze account metrics (seats, supplier usage, spend volume) to assess health and identify risks
  • Proactively identify and execute on upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Support renewals through value storytelling and stakeholder engagement

About You

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Professional fluency in Mandarin and English
  • Based in or able to work APAC hours (with some PST overlap)
  • Experience in a SaaS environment

Preferred Experience

  • 2–4+ years in Customer Success, Procurement, or Sourcing roles
  • Background in a technical or STEM field
  • Strong analytical skills (e.g., Excel modeling, supplier optimization tools)
  • Experience working with procurement software or supplier ecosystems
